The Task
Congratulations! You and your partners have been elected as Southwest curators for the National Museum of Natural History. Your focus will be gardens and cultures of New Mexico.
You will design an exhibit by completing the following tasks:
- find and include a cultural story in the exhibit
- research traditional plants and gardening techniques specifically for your exhibit
- find a piece of art that represents your school's largest cultural group
- make a presentation of your findings.
The Process
- Divide into groups of three.
- You can work together on the tasks or divide them up among the group.
- Go to the resources and explore.
- Bookmark your findings for the presentation.
- Meet as a team, analyze your findings, and develop your presentation.

Learning Advice
Be sure to keep track of all of your findings. Open up a word processing document and copy the URLs that are of interest to your group and then save them on a disk. You can also bookmark the URLs, but if you want to access them from school or home, it would be better to have them on a disk.
Conclusion
After completing this WebQuest you now have a better idea of what is available on the World Wide Web and how you might use it to study other subjects. You have searched and made a presentation of your findings and hopefully have made some discoveries that you can share with others.
